South African Hoodia Gordonii Cactus

An unusual cactus named Hoodia Gordonii can be found in Kalahari of Africa. It grows in very high temperatures and needs much time to maturate. Kalahari residents, ancient tribes, have been consuming South African Hoodia Gordonii cactus extract for a long time, to suppress appetite and thirstwhen going on long-term hunting journeys. As researches in South Africa were analyzing the plant, they revealed that it included a special molecule, which hadn’t overcome any studies before. It was named P57.

As the British Heart Foundation studies reveal, 21% is suffering from obesity among women and 17% among men, but 32% of females and 46% of males have excess weight. So the necessity of selling the medicine and its popularity are obvious. Doctor Richard Dixey of Phytopharm illuminated what is P57 effect:

The brain has a section called hypothalamus. Inside this brain part there exist some nerve cells, which are activated when the glucose levels rise. As you are consuming food the glucose levels in blood become higher and these cells give a signal that you have eaten enough.
